Our Story

Several years back, our company needed a lowbed to haul our dozers. First, we tried to buy new from a recognizable brand. But they wanted $135K before taxes, and the wait time was 6 months — that was a no-go.

So we began searching for a used trailer. After working the auctions for several months, we finally settled with a 1977 model on Facebook Marketplace for $40K—Ridiculous. Right then and there, we decided to make our own trailers.

After several years of development, testing, and heavy-use hauling our own equipment, we are proud to share our solution with you. Because the market is so bloated and constrained by legacy-sellers, this is a rare opportunity to customize a trailer, at a great price, and get it delivered this season.

Bozeman Trailers is owned by Josh Gilliam. After graduating West Point in 2000, Josh served as an infantry officer in both Iraq and Afghanistan with the 1st Ranger Battalion and the 82nd Airborne. After 22 years of service, he retired to build a business in his hometown.
